It primarily affects girls and leads to a profound loss of previously acquired skills. Children with Rett Syndrome can lose the ability to speak, walk, and use their hands, often becoming trapped in bodies that are unable to respond to the thoughts and feelings they continue to experience. This cause is particularly close to our hearts, as our Finance Manager’s niece lives with Rett Syndrome. Through our support of Reverse Rett, we hope to help raise awareness of this devastating condition and contribute to the vital research being undertaken to develop effective treatments.
