Why did you decide on this career path?
It was by mistake, my brother who is also an arborist rang me and said Ealing council are recruiting. I went for the interview and the rest is history.

What job did you do previously?
Always been in the tree industry

What’s the best part of your job?
knowing that no job is ever the same. Everyday is different and challenging and you never stop learning.

What’s the worst part of your job?
The Weather, I complain about it all the time

What’s your favourite bit of tree kit and why?
Probably my ZigZag which is a climbing friction device

What are your day to day responsibilities?
Matt will give a long list of responsibilities. Personally making sure the team I’m with are fine and enjoying themselves.

What are the most important qualities to have in your job role?
A sense of humour and enjoy what you’re doing.

In your opinion, what is the culture of 4 Seasons Tree Care?
Professional and progressive, the guys here are brilliant, they are supportive and make the working days enjoyable.

What is your favourite season?
Ice hockey and football

What is the one achievement that you are the most proud of in your life?
Not really an achievement as such, but the proudest moment is marrying my wife Alex.

When you have free time, what do you like to do?
I play ice hockey so that takes a few days a week up. The rest of my time I spend recovering from work as the years of climbing have caught up with me.
